I arrived in Columbus 8 years ago from Connecticut. I practically grew up in a deli. My godfather runs a deli/catering business that I worked in for awhile. I worked in a deli while attending university and later here in Columbus as a deli manager. I can tell you I made A LOT of sandwiches during this time. I was introduced to Danny’s by a co-worker and when I first walked in I was blown away. I sat down and ordered a corned beef.., THE JAWBREAKER. It was delicious! I finally found a place for a great sandwich.

I was relocated in 2008. I returned to Columbus just a few months ago. When I found out I was going to be working downtown again, I couldn't wait to get there for my first sandwich. I am going there at least once a week now!

I started eating Danny's on St. Clair in Cleveland and I am a lucky follower to have Danny's on Front St. in Columbus. I love the food. And the portions. My favorite is The New Yorker with onion rings. Nothing combines the overload of corned beef and tangy slaw better than a batch of savory battered onion rings. Also, other restaurants say they have a rueben, a rueben is not two slices of corned beef. A rueben is a jawbreaking half-pound portion of corned beef and a lot of kraut. Thank you Danny's Deli!

I never eat beef - BUT - when we are at Danny's I always have half a reuben. As you can see it is a huge sandwich. Great family time. Thanks Jeanine, Stef, Steve and Chuck.
